The form at the link below enables you to confirm the status of an ESTA application. There are five potential results that you may receive from the ESTA status check form. These status’ are as follows:

“Application Approved” – Your application has been processed and you are permitted to travel under the Visa Waiver Program. Your ESTA is issued for a period of two years (or passport expiry) and can be used for visits of up to 90 days.

“Application Not Found” – This means you have either not submitted an application or you have provided incorrect passport or name information.

“Application Expired” – This means your previous ESTA application has expired.

“Application Pending” – Your application is still undergoing processing. Please allow 72 hours for your application to process.

“Travel Not Authorized” – This means your ESTA has been processed and your application has been denied. Thus, you are ineligible to travel under the Visa Waiver Program. You may still be eligible to apply for a U.S. visa.
